Western Port Equestrian Association:

Western Port Equestrian Association (WPEA) was established in 2009 when a small group of passionate local riders recognised the need for an equestrian club in the Mornington Peninsula and Hastings area that would cater to the needs, goals and aspirations of its members – and, most importantly, create a club environment where families could ride and enjoy their passion for horses together.

Today, WPEA is a welcoming, inclusive and proudly family-oriented club with more than 92 members, ranging in age from teenagers through to riders in their seventies. Our members come from all walks of life and participate in a diverse range of equestrian disciplines, united by a shared love of horses and a strong sense of community.

Our club strives to provide a friendly, fun, supportive and encouraging environment where riders and their horses can learn, develop and achieve their goals. Members have access to quality instruction, opportunities to compete and improve their skills, as well as the chance to enjoy our grounds and take part in a variety of social activities and club events.

At the heart of WPEA is our people. We pride ourselves on being a club where everyone is welcomed, supported and encouraged, regardless of their age, experience or level of riding. From those taking their first steps into the equestrian world to experienced competitors, there is a place for everyone within our club.

While our members may have different goals and interests, we are all connected by our love of horses, our willingness to support one another and the friendships that have grown through being part of WPEA.

For more than 15 years, Western Port Equestrian Association has continued to grow while staying true to the vision of those founding members – creating a club where riders and their families can come together, enjoy their horses, learn, compete, make lifelong friendships and, most importantly, have FUN!

We are incredibly proud of the community we have built and the wonderful people who make Western Port Equestrian Association the club it is today.
