Bulla Adult Riding Club:
Bulla Adult Riding Club was established in 1985 and currently has approximately 50 members. Our grounds are in Greenvale in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne and easily accessible via the Hume Freeway or Ring Road, relatively close to Melbourne Airport.
Bulla ARC has fantastic facilities with 3 large all weather sand areas with the capacity to hold 10 dressage arenas. These arenas can also hold show jumping with the club owning 2 full sets of competition show jumps. We have modern clubrooms offering heating and cooling, as well as toilets and showers and a great indoor space for spectating as well as a comfortable space to socialise whilst at competitions or rallies.
Bulla ARC has a cross country course with level 5 up to level 1. We are fortunate to co-tenant with Goulburn Valley Horse Trials Association, a dual affiliated club with EA and HRCAV who run the annual “Avenel@Greenvale Horse Trials”. As such, we benefit from their course designers updating the courses every year as well as adding new jumps and assisting with maintenance.
Bulla ARC holds monthly rallies where we have a variety of instructors running different formats of lessons including flat, show jumping and poles, cross country jumping and 3 phase equitation.
Bulla ARC regularly holds competitions including dressage, horse trials and 3PE. We have also held combined training and showing events. Bulla has hosted most disciplines of Top Team Trophy competitions having held horse trials, dressage, showing, combined training and show jumping. In 2027, we will be hosting TTT 3PE.
Bulla ARC is unique in its central location to enable HRCAV’s northern clubs as well as those in the South East as well as our Western clubs to access the grounds for competitions. It is also easy to access for other metropolitan clubs. Our facilities are second to none and we are proud of what we have developed over the years. Bulla is a friendly and inclusive club with a mixture of members who are “old hands” within HRCAV and newcomers. Our members participate within all of the HRCAV disciplines and we also have members who don’t compete.
